With a lot on people’s minds right now, Barkfest offers a beachside reset for both you and your dog, with activities ranging from agility games to a foam-filled splash zone.
Taking place at Le Méridien Mina Seyahi in Dubai Marina, the event is set to be a relaxed, outdoor day built around the beach, with a mix of activities for dogs, owners, and families.
Across the venue, there will be off-leash areas, interactive zones, and a line-up of light competitions running through the afternoon. The Fun Dog Show starts from 4.30 pm, with categories including Happiest Dog, Small and Sassy, Fluffiest Floof, Quickest Sit, Cutest Cross, and Best Beach Style. Entry is free and open to all breeds.
For dogs that prefer the water, a dedicated splash zone and foam area using dog-safe materials will be open throughout the day. Agility setups and informal challenges will also be available.
Along the beachfront, a mini market will bring together local vendors, alongside food and casual beverages. If you’re heading with family, there’s also a supervised children’s area with soft play, colouring, and face painting, while live music and entertainment run throughout the day alongside the programme.
Barkfest runs on Saturday 4 April, from 1 pm to 9 pm. Tickets will be available via Platinumlist, starting from AED 30. And get there early, as the first 100 dogs to arrive will receive a special gift.
Dogs attending should be social, well-behaved, and comfortable around others. Entry is free for children aged 12 and under. Parking is limited, so pet-friendly taxis are recommended.
