Famed for his quick wit and high-octane performances, the award-winning comedian will perform at Theatre by QE2 in June.
Raise your hand if you’re in need of a laugh — and mark your calendar for Russell Kane’s highly awaited return. The English multihyphenate will perform in Dubai this summer, as confirmed by GME Events, bringing his HyperActive World Tour to Theatre by QE2 for an exclusive comedy show on Sunday, 2 June. We’re told that the brand-new tour will see Kane bring his signature high-energy, high-octane style back to the QE2, where he sold out the venue last January.
You may know him for his appearances on any number of TV shows in the UK: The Apprentice: You’re Fired, The One Show, Live at the Apollo, Antiques Road Trip, and Stupid Man, Smart Phone included. He’s also a regular on Steph’s Packed Lunch. And if his off-the-cuff rants are more your style, his ‘Kaneing’ videos likely dominate your YouTube feed.
Housed in the iconic Queen Elizabeth 2 ship, Theatre by QE2 will also feature comedians Shane Todd (27 January) and Aurie Styla (11 May). Further south, Trevor Noah (28 February) and Jo Koy (26 May) will take the stage at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, marking the return of both superstars to the UAE.
Incidentally, GME Events was responsible for bringing Michael McIntyre to Dubai earlier this month, and is currently gearing up to host Romesh Ranganathan’s debut performance in the country — the comedian will headline Coca-Cola Arena on 25 October, deadpan humour in tow. Tickets for Russell Kane’s comedy show are now available at Platinumlist and start at AED 175.
