Splashed with Dolce & Gabbana’s most iconic print, the sky pool at Atlantis The Royal is now home to a new pop-up by the Italian brand.
If there was ever a time to live la dolce vita in Dubai, it’s now — Cloud 22 has been blanketed in the famed majolica, a blue-and-white print that perfectly encapsulates the enviable Italian lifestyle and makes an appearance in seemingly countless creations by Dolce & Gabbana. In collaboration with Ounass, the luxury brand has transformed the stylish sky pool at Atlantis The Royal, hosting a pop-up store that is now showcasing its collections.
The Italian-inspired experience evokes a story of love and hospitality, of devotion to beauty, and the art of living the everyday life — complemented by sweeping views over Palm Jumeirah to boot. Soaring 96 metres above the manmade island and spanning 90 metres in length, Cloud 22 features an endless infinity pool, floating beds, 11 luxury cabanas with private plunge pools, and a two-storey VVIP cabana (complete with its own floating infinity pool).
Dolce & Gabbana has employed its iconic majolica print to adorn Cloud 22 in order to seamlessly weave the fashion house’s creativity into the venue’s inherent sophistication. Collectively, meticulously crafted furnishings – all embellished with the majolica print – and natural materials contribute to this sky-high slice of the Mediterranean. And as lively music only adds to its luxurious ambience, guests can indulge in a special Dolce & Gabbana menu featuring a handpicked selection of dishes that include the likes of bruschetta with Oscietra caviar, Gillardeau oysters drizzled with Amalfi lemon and balsamico sauce, and steak tartare perfected with truffle.
Visitors can also immerse themselves in the world of Ounass at a pop-up store located on the Galleria Level of Atlantis The Royal, where guests can not only discover timeless pieces by Dolce & Gabbana – including iconic prints such as Blue Majolica and Psychedelic Cart, together with the Crystal Mesh Collection – but also live the unrivalled shopping experience that has put Ounass on the map. Open from 10am to 7pm daily, this splurgeworthy journey at Cloud 22 starts from AED 450 per person.
