An extraordinary musical journey awaits as Dubai hosts the Butterfly Carnival on Saturday, 9 November.
Butterfly Carnival is set to transform Dubai Media City Amphitheatre this November, with the promise of bridging cultures through the universal language of music.
A first of its kind in Dubai, the music festival blends the best of London’s Notting Hill Carnival, Trinidad and Tobago’s beats, and the wild spirit of Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro Carnival right to Dubai.
The event will be headlined by Beenie Man. Dubbed the “King of Dancehall,” his breakthrough came in the mid-90s with hits like “Who Am I (Sim Simma).” Over the years, he has collaborated with artists such as Akon, Janet Jackson, Mya and Wyclef Jean and won numerous awards, including a Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2001 for “Art and Life.”
With more exciting partnerships to be announced soon, this carefully curated line-up offers an unparalleled fusion of genres, highlighted by internationally renowned DJs and over 30 local artists.
Prepare to be captivated by the vibrant entertainment adorned with dancers, drummers, acrobats, and an ensemble of gifted artists as they come together to create a breathtaking spectacle of creativity and imagination.
Complementing the artistic showcases is a tantalising culinary experience where an array of delectable global flavours converge through an ensemble of food trucks, bars, and food stalls.
Watch Dubai Media City Amphitheatre evolve into a dynamic hub of celebration as the Butterfly Carnival Music Festival promises an enchanting experience for all.
Butterfly Carnival Music Festival will take place at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on Saturday, November 11 from 2pm until late.
