One of the longest-running shows in West End and Broadway history is coming to wow Abu Dhabi audiences at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island from 14-24 May 2026.
Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber including the timeless hit song Memory, you’ll be enthralled by the oversized set, inspired choreography and mischievous costumes that CATS is famous for as well as a song and dance spectacular.
It’s based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the original London production opened in 1981 at the New London Theatre and transferred to Broadway’s Winter Garden Theatre 1982.

Since its world premiere, CATS has been presented in over 30 countries, has been translated into 15 languages, and has been seen by more than 73 million people worldwide. The original creative team includes design by John Napier, choreography by Gillian Lynne, and direction by Trevor Nunn.
