The British comic performs live at New Covent Garden Theatre on 22 June.
British comedian Simon Brodkin is heading back to Dubai for a one-night show at New Covent Garden Theatre, Mall of the Emirates on Monday 22 June.
Brodkin first became a household name in the UK through his alter egos, including Lee Nelson and fictional footballer Jason Bent. He created and starred in three BBC series, Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show and Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People, before shifting his focus fully to stand-up and political satire.
In recent years, Simon has built a reputation for headline-making stunts aimed at public figures. He famously showered former FIFA president Sepp Blatter with dollar bills, handed former UK prime minister Theresa May a P45 on stage and interrupted Donald Trump at his golf course. The moments went viral globally and cemented his reputation as one of Britain’s most provocative comics.
With billions of views across social platforms and regular television appearances, Brodkin has grown a strong international following. His Dubai date marks his latest return to the region.
