Culinary Month

Celebrity chefs, exclusive collaborations, specially curated set menus — it’s all happening at both Atlantis resorts.

With Atlantis Dubai announcing the return of Culinary Month, now’s the time to mark your calendars — the dining extravaganza will run from 1 November to 8 December, once again spanning both Atlantis, The Palm, and Atlantis The Royal. As for what’s on the roster for the sixth edition? Appearances by renowned celebrity chefs, exclusive collaborations, and unmissable offers during Atlantis Restaurant Week for starters. Here’s a taste of what you can expect.

Atlantis Restaurant Week

Culinary Month will kick off with the highly anticipated Atlantis Restaurant Week, with set menus featuring signature dishes from the world-class restaurants that make Atlantis Dubai one of the most recognised dining destinations worldwide — Nobu Dubai, Hakkasan, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, and Ariana’s Persian Kitchen included. Taking place from 1 to 16 November, it will allow diners to savour specially curated set menus at a fraction of the price from 12 of Atlantis Dubai’s renowned restaurants.

Visitors to Atlantis The Royal can enjoy highlights including a Michelin-starred dining experience, where Dinner by Heston Blumenthal will showcase a four-course menu featuring some of the restaurant’s most renowned dishes inspired by the flavours of Britain through various centuries such as its iconic Meat Fruit (c.1500). Elsewhere, Greek-Mediterranean restaurant estiatorio Milos will welcome diners to enjoy a specially set menu while gazing over the striking Skyblaze fountain. Additionally, hotspot Ling Ling is sure to be a hit with its exquisite contemporary Asian four-course menu complemented by a signature cocktail. Meanwhile, visitors to Atlantis, The Palm can choose to dine at Michelin-starred Hakkasan with an enticing nine-course set menu curated by Executive Chef Andy Toh or head to Nobu for a six-course menu showcasing the best of Japanese-Peruvian cuisine.

Family Masterclasses

Culinary Month

Families can roll up their sleeves together, immersing in a series of engaging weekend masterclasses designed to offer hands-on experiences led by world-class chefs. At Estiatorio Milos, guests will master the art of creating the classic Greek salad and Greek ceviche. And over at Michelin-starred Hakkasan, participants will discover the intricate techniques behind making dim sum and bao, while Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar unveils the secrets to crafting the perfect trifle. At En Fuego, meanwhile, the restaurant’s famed empanadas will take centre stage.

Meet a Celebrity Chef

Following an honorable mention in the 2024 Michelin Guide, Ariana’s Persian Kitchen is inviting guests to experience an exclusive three-course dinner hosted by Chef Ariana herself on 15 November. The dinner will take place in the private dining room with an intimate setting and captivating décor, showcasing both the essence of Iranian cuisine and unparalleled Persian hospitality. Diners will get to explore a world of flavours with a variety of delectable dishes such as Sabzi Khordan with a medley of herbs, to Kabab Koobideh, an Iranian national dish of chargrilled ground lamb. Only 12 seats are available to book, so the Supper Club with Ariana Bundy promises a truly intimate dinner setting.

The Supper Club with Gastón Acurio, meanwhile, will see La Mar by Gastón Acurio debuting a specially curated ten-course menu complemented by a signature beverage that celebrates the best of Peruvian cuisine from nine La Mar locations across the globe. Celebrity chef Gastón Acurio will cook alongside the La Mar Dubai team, inviting foodies on an exquisite journey celebrating the flavours of Peru. Available for one night only, 20 November, this special menu features Conchita poderosa — Hokkaido scallop with caviar and olive oil emulsion, a cult favourite dish crafted by La Mar’s Dubai Chef de Cuisine Cesar Ulloa. Guests can savour Pesca Nikkei from Lima, where Gastón Acurio opened the first La Mar restaurant in 2005, with the dish highlighting the catch of the day, Nikkei sauce and white chaufa, a classic Peruvian fried rice. The menu culminates on a sweet note with chocolate mousse featuring chocolate sourced from various regions in Peru.

Culinary Month Collaborations

November will also see a host of highly anticipated four-hands dinners across Atlantis Dubai, where guests will have the opportunity to witness the incredible synergy that arises when two exceptional chefs combine their skills and culinary visions to craft a unique and innovative menu. Ossiano x Fusions by Tala will bring the Michelin-starred Ossiano and Bahrain’s Fusions by Tala together to offer an exclusive dining experience on 4 November. Ranked No. 9 on the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants list, Fusions by Tala is led by Bahrain-born, Swiss-trained chef Tala Bashmi. Known as the voice of modern Khaleeji cuisine, she blends childhood memories and traditional dishes with a contemporary style at her restaurant. Together with Ossiano’s celebrated chef, Grégoire Berger, the duo will present a ten-course tasting menu where every chapter of the story will be interpreted through the culinary lens of each chef.

Also noteworthy is the Dinner by Heston Blumenthal x Château Margaux at Atlantis The Royal on 5 November, featuring Michelin-starred restaurant Dinner by Heston Blumenthal collaborating with one of France’s most renowned wine houses, Château Margaux. With only 20 seats available to book, hosted by Aurélien Valance, Winemaker and Deputy Managing Director of Château Margaux, this specially curated wine pairing menu invites guests for an intimate and exclusive dining experience. With dishes inspired by the tastes and flavours of Britain’s gastronomic past, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Château Margaux will present an exclusive five-course tasting menu, where each dish will be paired with exquisite Château Margaux wines. For the mains, diners will enjoy Rice & Flesh (c.1390), beef cheek infused with saffron and red wine, paired with Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux 2019. The culinary event will conclude with the Bohemian Cake (c. 1648) paired with the limited-production Château Margaux 1996.

Sustainability Week

The 2024 edition will also introduce Sustainability Week, running from 11 to 20 November, shining a spotlight on the resort’s commitment to using responsibly sourced ingredients and showcasing the finest local produce. We’re told that guests will be treated to a series of curated dining experiences highlighting sustainable practices and ingredients throughout the week, echoing Atlantis Dubai’s ongoing sustainability efforts. Jaleo by award-winning culinary innovator José Andrés is inviting diners to indulge in a specially curated five-course set menu that will not only celebrate a variety of locally sourced ingredients but also explore the rich tapestry of Spanish flavours.

Social Week

Spanning the best of the best at Atlantis Dubai, Social Week will run from 28 November to 8 December, bringing with it limited-time set menus, four-hour indulgences, and even a Thanksgiving Day feast. Following the success of the ultimate Feast of Dreams during Atlantis The Royal’s Grand Reveal weekend, Atlantis Dubai invites guests to an unmissable culinary event scheduled for 30 November at Gastronomy. Here, diners can enjoy signature dishes from world-renowned celebrity chef restaurants such as Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, La Mar by Gastón Acurio, Ling Ling, Jaleo by José Andrés, Nobu Dubai, estiatorio Milos, and many more.

The specially curated Feast of Dreams menu offers guests culinary delights including a variety of Greek spreads and tomato salad from estiatorio Milos, recognised as one the finest Mediterranean restaurants in the world. Nobu Dubai will present a selection of signature sushi and sashimi at The Seven Seas sushi counter housed within Gastronomy, and a one-Michelin-starred Dinner by Heston Blumenthal will invite diners to indulge in the Meat Fruit (c.1500). Priced at AED 695 per person, this gastronomic experience promises eight celebrity chef cooking stations serving up a treasure trove of culinary masterpieces, signature creations from Atlantis’ renowned chefs, and vibrant entertainment for one night only.
