The rock and roll legends are bringing their Middle East and Europe tour to Etihad Arena on 27 May 2025.
Ask any fan across the country, and they’ll tell you that Guns N’ Roses went all out during its Abu Dhabi concert at Etihad Arena back in 2023, performing the likes of “Bad Obsession” and “Pretty Tied Up” for the first time since the ’90s. Now, history is in the making as the band is confirmed to return to the road for a massive 2025 tour produced by Live Nation, headlining stadiums, festivals, and arenas across Europe and the Middle East, — the capital included.
Guns N’ Roses will once again headline Etihad Arena on 27 May, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Miral, bringing incredible rock anthems and a ‘one in a million’ chance to experience history. Famed for rocking out stadiums globally for nearly four decades (and counting), the powerhouse rock band has experienced a litany of success since it burst onto the scene with debut album Appetite for Destruction in 1987, which reached number one on the Billboard 200 a year after its release.
With several chart-topping hits under their belt, the band – which now consists of Axl Rose, Duff McKagan, Slash, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Melissa Reese – has risen to fame performing a fusion of punk rock, blues rock, hard rock, heavy metal, and glam metal. Gunners in Abu Dhabi can expect to hear a whole host of smash hits such as “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” and “Welcome To The Jungle” when Axl Rose and Co. take the stage. Cementing their status as global rock megastars, the cinematic music video for “November Rain” has now surpassed a staggering two billion views, elevating it to rarified air as “one of the most-viewed rock videos of all time.”
