The legendary entertainment company is bringing Cirque du Soleil Crystal to Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi this April.
In a case of coming full circle, Cirque du Soleil is set to return to the city where it made its Middle Eastern debut with Bazzar back in 2019, Abu Dhabi, this time bringing with it an unprecedented fusion of ice skating and acrobatics brilliance. Crystal marks its inaugural showcase at Etihad Arena on Yas Island and will take place from 26 April to 5 May, with most shows kicking off at 7:30pm.

The first of its kind in the UAE, Cirque du Soleil Crystal explores a whole new creative territory in the iconic entertainment company’s 40-year history. A unique production that pushes the boundaries of the circus arts by combining stunning skating and acrobatic feats defying the imagination, it features synchronised skating, freestyle figures, and extreme skating alongside traditional circus disciplines such as swinging trapeze and aerial straps.
For the uninitiated, Cirque du Soleil has already taken its shows – Ovo, Volta, Alegría, and more – to over 85 countries, their character-driven approach and the absence of performing animals making it the definitive contemporary circus producer on the planet. Organised by SESLive! in association with Live Nation Middle East, a total of nine performances of Crystal are expected at Etihad Arena.

Member’s presale tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow from 12pm, followed by Live Nation Middle East and Ticketmaster presale tickets on 11 January. This will be followed by the sale of general tickets from 12 January. They range in price from AED 175 to AED 1,500, and an early bird special is now available for a limited time only.
