BRED, the first-ever neo-culture festival in the region is set to take place on Yas Island from 26-30 April. We know what you’re thinking, what is a neo-culture festival? Well you can expect to see the best of contemporary culture with music, fashion, food, sports, and art – all in one event.
Earlier this week we revealed that BRED Abu Dhabi had announced the first set of artists for the event. 2 Chainz, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Dave East and Omar Souleyman will all take to the stage across the weekend.
Now its been revealed that more artists are set to perform with Big Sean, 6LACK and Giggs being added to the bill.
Taking to the stage on Friday, 28 April is 6LACK (pronounced black), an American rapper who has collaborated with huge names in the industry including J.Cole, Ty Dolla $ign, and Selena Gomez. His hit tracks such as “By Any Means,” “Rent Free,” and “Calling My Phone” have helped him establish a prominent position in the world of hip-hop music. He first gained widespread recognition with his single “PRBLMS,” which later became part of his critically acclaimed album “Free 6LACK.”

Performing on Saturday, 29 April is Big Sean who first gained popularity in 2011 with the release of his debut studio album, “Finally Famous,” which included hit singles such as “My Last” and “Marvin & Chardonnay.” Since then he has released several successful albums and collaborations with the likes of Kanye West and Ariana Grande.
Also performing on Saturday will be British rapper, Giggs, who rose to fame in the mid-2000s as a prominent figure in the London grime scene. He has released several albums throughout his career, including “Walk in da Park,” “Let Em Ave It,” and “Landlord,” which all received critical acclaim. Giggs has also collaborated with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Drake, and Jorja Smith and has become one of the most respected and influential rappers in the UK.|

Other acts include UAE based rapper and producer Freek, who is considered a pioneer in the underground music scene, Lebanese rapper and music producer El Rass and Ahmed Santa an Egyptian hip hop artist.
Catch the first ever neo-culture event at the BRED Arena, located on the picturesque Yas Bay Waterfront. Individual day tickets start at just AED50. For those who are keen to catch the concerts, tickets are available from AED195, while opening party tickets are priced at AED150 and closing party tickets at AED175. However, if you’re looking to make the most of the festival experience, full festival passes are the way to go providing access to all daytime activities, concerts, and opening/closing parties and are priced at AED495.
