Legendary British Soul and pop band, Simply Red are set to perform in Dubai for the first time in 20 years. The band’s eagerly anticipated concert will be held at the Coca-Cola Arena on June 8th, 2023, as part of the first-ever World Padel League.
With an illustrious career spanning over three decades and over 60 million records sold globally their music has touched the hearts of millions of fans worldwide.
The band was founded in 1985 by lead singer Mick Hucknall and quickly rose to fame with their unique blend of soulful pop music. The band’s hits, including “If You Don’t Know Me by Now,” “Stars,” and ” Something Got Me Started” have become timeless classics and cemented the band’s status as one of the most iconic bands of all time.

The concert is part of the first-ever World Padel League, which is set to take place from 8-11 June. The World Padel League is an exciting new sporting event that brings together the world’s top padel players for a four-day tournament.
Padel is a fast-paced racket sport that is similar to tennis, but played on a smaller court with walls. Over the last few years Dubai has become home to a number of top Padel Courts and experiences as popularity in the sport has grown massively. One of our favourite places to visit has to be Matcha – which features six outdoor courts, yoga studios and the laid back coffee spot, Nette café.
