The one-night-only Lang Lang Plays Disney show takes place on 22 November.
Internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang will bring the magic of Walt Disney movie soundtracks to life in a newly reimagined show at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on Friday, 22 November. Accompanied by a full orchestra and special guests, Lang Lang Plays Disney promises an extraordinary musical and visual experience featuring Disney’s most beloved songs.
Lang Lang has enchanted audiences worldwide with his interpretations of Disney classics, from contemporary hits like “Let It Go” from Frozen and “You’ll Be in My Heart” from Tarzan to timeless favourites such as “Someday My Prince Will Come” from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book, and “Chim Chim Cheree” from Mary Poppins. This concert offers a live musical journey through cherished songs that span generations, appealing to both adults and children alike.
Lang Lang’s global acclaim includes selling millions of albums and performing for notable figures such as President Barack Obama, Pope Francis, and the late Queen Elizabeth II. His performances at major events like the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2014 FIFA World Cup have captivated audiences worldwide.
Presented by MAC Global in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, this unique one-night-only performance of Lang Lang Plays Disney is set to be a memorable evening at Etihad Arena on Yas Island.
Lang Lang expressed his excitement for the Abu Dhabi show, saying, “As a young child, animation sparked my imagination and transported me to other worlds. The music was a big part of the experience and led to my lifelong love of classical music. There is such a variety of styles in Disney songs; there is truly something to inspire everyone. Starting from AED 195, tickets to Lang Lang Plays Disney are now available via Platinumlist and Etihad Arena.
