A total of 14 acts are headed to the Press Play Fanzone.
Earlier this month, we revealed details surrounding the debut of Press Play, a new multimedia platform that is anchored in music and set to change how the World Cup will be being experienced in Dubai. Now, we have the names of three out of the 14 live acts headed to the Press Play Fanzone. Read on.
25 November: England Vs. USA match
For the first time in Dubai history, the legendary British grime artists Lethal Bizzle and JME will be going back-to-back on the Press Play stage, kicking off the football season’s inaugural concerts. Since bursting onto the scene 20 years ago, Lethal Bizzle has remained one of the biggest names in the game, releasing hits like “Pow”, “Go Hard” and “Rari Workout”. Co-founder of Boy Better Know, JME will be coming to the region for the first time. Renowned for being one of the greatest grime artists of all time, he has worked with heavyweights such as Giggs, Wiley, Tempa T and, of course his brother, Skepta on the anthemic “That’s Not Me”.
29 November: England Vs. Wales match
British band Rudimental will follow, coming to Press Play Fanzone on 29 November, so expect a performance of hits like “Feel The Love”, “These Days”, “Waiting All Night”, and “Not Giving In”. The award-winning drum and bass band, which has owned the charts for the past decade, will be getting the crowd on its feet with its signature electric atmosphere.
Situated in Precision Football, Ibn Battuta, the Press Play Fanzone will be kicking off on 20 November, with tables now available to book. Football and music fans will be almost touching distance to the action, but from the comfort of the Fanzone sofas. A colossal 250-square-metre screen will be showing all 63 games to the backdrop of stadium sound as a plethora of food and beverage options are served tableside. Fans can choose between one of the myriad of tables and customised dugouts, complete with their own branding, bars and table service for each game or the entire season pass. Those looking for the luxury experience can book one of the VIP platforms, including individual screens and pre-match hospitality.
