Legends, luminaries, and top regional talent from the world of rap, R&B and beyond are set to come together as the Sundance 2024 kicks off on Saturday, 30 November at Soul Beach, JA The Resort. Curated to be the city’s ultimate music extravaganza, the two-day music festival is a brainchild of The Rhino Group and Braga Conceptz. On the roster are some of the biggest names in the global music industry — Flo Rida, Fat Joe, and Ja Rule for starters. All three rap icons will take the stage on day one of this highly anticipated event.
Day two, meanwhile, will be headlined by Jason Derulo, who recently celebrated his 35th birthday by performing at Blu Dubai at V Hotel. The acclaimed genre-hopper will be supported by reggae fusion singer Sean Kingston, singer-songwriter Iyaz of “Replay” fame, and emerging indie artist Yumi. Several Middle Eastern DJs will also spin the decks at Sundance, adding to the diversity of this festival’s electrifying line-up. “This festival will offer an unparalleled fusion of global and regional talent,” says Antonio Morris, CEO of The Rhino Group. “We’re excited to deliver an unforgettable weekend at Sundance.”
We’re told that DJ Bliss – who has graced the stage alongside some of the world’s most renowned artists – will be the official MC for both days, ensuring a high-energy and engaging experience for festivalgoers thanks to his high-energy stage presence. “Bringing this level of entertainment to Dubai has been a long time in the making,” adds Simon Husin, CEO of Braga Conceptz. “With artists like Jason Derulo and Flo Rida, along with the best in regional talent, Sundance is set to be a landmark event.” More updates are expected in the weeks ahead, including additional DJ announcements and ticket details.
