Expect three days of foodie fun on Yas Island.
Famed food festival Taste of Abu Dhabi will return to the capital this winter. The three-day extravaganza is set to be a gastronomic delight, featuring the city’s most celebrated restaurants, celebrity chefs workshops and musical experiences for the expected 15,000 attendees.
From 15 to 17 November, food enthusiasts, families, and friends can visit Gateway Park South on Yas Island for a celebration of food, beverages, and music.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than before, casting a culinary spotlight on 15 of Abu Dhabi’s most popular eateries. Each restaurant will craft a special menu featuring three to five ‘taster’ size dishes, allowing guests to savour diverse flavours. The first ten confirmed restaurants include Barbossa, Craft by Side Hustle, José by Pizarro, Li Jiang, Mika, Oak Room, Silk & Spice and Taon
Taste of Abu Dhabi will also feature three days of exclusive workshops hosted by celebrity chefs, where guests can learn invaluable kitchen secrets and gain insights directly from the experts. The initial roster of celebrity chefs includes Eric Lanlard, José Pizarro, Marco Pierre White and Sanjeev Kapoor. All workshops are complimentary with an event entry ticket, with sign-ups for sessions being operated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event.
To keep the festival vibes strong throughout the weekend, Taste of Abu Dhabi will offer multiple stages throughout the venue, featuring everything from DJ sets to intimate acoustic performances. Licensed lounges for those aged 21 and older will also be available within the event.
Families with young chefs-in-training need not worry—there’s a mega kids zone with bouncy castles and kids’ cooking workshops to keep the little ones entertained all weekend.
