This year’s festival will celebrate 50 years of Hip-Hop.
Sole DXB will return to Dubai Design District (d3) from 8 to 10 December 2023. This year, the festival will partner with Mass Appeal, the Nas-backed entertainment company, to mark Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary in the Arab world.
Rajat Malhotra, Sole Partner, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the cultural moment, acknowledging Hip-Hop’s transformation into a global movement. “Over the course of our lives, we’ve seen Hip Hop grow from unlikely underdog to top of the cultural food chain. It’s a global movement that’s changed the course of our lives and how we see the world.”

Rapper Nasir “Nas” Jones, who headlined Sole DXB in 2018, shared his excitement for the festival; “Headlining Sole DXB in 2018 was such an incredible experience for me. I’m so happy that through a partnership with Mass Appeal we are building out the full festival experience to celebrate Hip Hop 50.”
Owned and developed by Sole, the leading voice in the youth and contemporary culture scene, Sole DXB offers multiformat programming encompassing live music, DJ sets, fashion, film screenings, talks, workshops, sports tournaments, and youth clinics.
