Lauded by the Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi and Gault&Millau, Catch at St. Regis is a sophisticated seafood restaurant located on the shoreline of Abu Dhabi’s picturesque corniche.
Upon entering the restaurant, guests will be instantly wowed by the underwater paradise that greets them. The stylish venue boasts decor and architecture reminiscent of the ocean. Natural wood, creatively designed sea rope lighting, and sand-inspired features adorn the space whilst an underwater video is projected onto the wall, transporting guests into a mesmerising undersea world. Elsewhere, floor-to-ceiling windows provide captivating views of the marina peninsula.
At the heart of Catch at St. Regis lies the open kitchen and sushi bar, where the team of skilled chefs showcase their culinary prowess through live cooking shows and picture-perfect plating.
Specialising in seafood, the restaurant presents a seductive menu of occidental flavours showcased in art avant-garde presentations. Highlight dishes include caviar, crabs and oysters.
Catch at St Regis’ seductive seafood menu is the creation of Chef Remon Nabil Hanna, a man with almost two decades of experience in the kitchen. His masterful menu spans everything from ceviche to sushi, sashimi and salads. However, it’s within the sharing plates and signature dishes that his culinary finesse comes to the fore. Dishes such as Crispy Prawns, Grilled Spanish Octopus and Pan Seared Scallops have all proven popular with diners in the capital.
Yet, the signature black cod remains the restaurant’s ‘must try’ dish. The fish is marinated for 48 hours in a miso yuzu sauce to achieve a rich buttery flavour. Elsewhere, Chef Remon’s impressive dessert titled ‘Catchamisu’ features an unexpected twist on the traditional Italian dessert by adorning it with handcrafted “coffee caviar.” The result is a dessert that is as Insta-worthy as it is tasty.
Complementing the culinary offerings, the restaurant boasts an extensive selection of creative cocktails, premium Champagnes, wines, and spirits that provide the perfect meal pairing.
For those seeking an intimate dining experience, Catch at St. Regis offers a private dining area with a wine cellar as its backdrop. During the winter season, the restaurant opens its al fresco dining and garden space, allowing diners to fully enjoy the beachfront locale whilst dining on sumptuous seafood and exquisite libations.
Elevating the dining experience further, the restaurant features live performances from a professional singer and a skilled saxophonist, serenading guests each evening and ensuring a memorable experience for all.
