The second edition will run from 22 to 24 November at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi.
As far as gourmands are concerned, Christmas is coming early — Michelin has officially announced that the MICHELIN Guide Food Festival is returning to the capital from 22 to 24 November. Taking place in partnership with Experience Abu Dhabi, the second edition will take place at the opulent Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.
Combining the mastery of fine dining with the interactive appeal of a food festival, this event will bring together leading chefs – from both Abu Dhabi and beyond – from 20 MICHELIN Guide recommended restaurants, offering specially curated menus and exclusive dishes, a selection of culinary masterclasses, a marketplace featuring local producers, live music, and a family-friendly ambiance. We’re told that the 2024 edition will provide visitors with a journey that blends Abu Dhabi’s rich cultural heritage with modern gastronomy, celebrating the diversity of flavours offered across the city.

New features, meanwhile, include The MICHELIN Guide Café with a high-end set menu led by acclaimed Italian pastry chef and MICHELIN Passion Dessert winner Aurora Storari, the creative force behind Aura at One MICHELIN Star restaurant Hémicycle, and Alexandre Thabard, Executive Pastry Chef from Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi. Available throughout the festival, a set of perfectly crafted sweet and savoury pastries paired with Nespresso coffe will be served for AED 250 per person. As for some of the featured MICHELIN Star restaurants on the roster? Cenador de Amós from Spain, Crony from Japan, Evvai from Brazil, Casa Vigil from Argentina, and Vino Locale from Türkiye. And representing the capital are legendary local spots such as ERTH, Talea, and 99 Sushi Bar.

Those looking to roll up their sleeves and learn from the best can join the MICHELIN Guide @ Home masterclass, taking place daily at 6pm and 7:30pm. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned cook, participating chefs will guide you through their signature recipes, sharing tips and techniques to help you recreate the magic in your own kitchen. Bonus: access to these sessions is free by simply registering during the event. Elsewhere, the exclusive MICHELIN Stars Table experience will bring together top chefs from MICHELIN starred restaurants to create an extraordinary set menu inspired by the elements — earth, desert, sea, and sky.
Starting at AED 100 for General Admission, tickets are now available via Platinumlist.
