The Wireless Festival lineup has been revealed

Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert will take to the stage at Etihad Park on Saturday, 11 March.

It’s the news that festival fans have been waiting for! As Wireless Festival Middle East prepares to make its debut in the region, the first eight artists on the lineup have been confirmed.

The exciting mix of international and regional talent includes Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Wegz, Black Sherif, Ali Gatie, King, Divine and Young Stunners.

Wireless Festival originated in London in 2005 and has since become a firm fixture on the festival circuit. In addition to its impressive lineup of music acts, Wireless is also known for its energetic atmosphere and immersive experiences. For the festival’s inaugural edition in Abu Dhabi, festival-goers can expect 13 live performances across two stages, food and beverage outlets, and various activations.

Acclaimed American rapper Travis Scott will headline the event. Known for his influential presence in hip-hop, Travis has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards, starred in a Netflix Documentary and garnered over 40 billion streams. We hope to hear his hit songs “Butterfly Effect”, “Highest In The Room”, and “Sicko Mode” when he takes to the Wireless Stage on Saturday, 11 March.

Lil Uzi Vert will also perform at the event. Since bursting onto the scene with his single “Money Longer” in 2016, the rapper has collaborated with 21 Savage, Migos, Wiz Khalifa and fellow Wireless headliner Travis Scott. With a melodic emo approach to trap music, expect performances of his biggest tracks, including “20 Min, “Just Wanna Rock,” and “Money Longer.”

In addition to the international acts, the Wireless lineup features prominent rappers from South Asia and the Middle East. Egyptian trap artist Wegz, who gained recognition for performing the official FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 song “Ezz El Arab (Arab Glory),” will take the stage, as well as Ghanaian singer and rapper Black Sherif.

Other confirmed artists include Indian singer King, Indian rapper Divine, Pakistani hip-hop duo Young Stunner, and Iraqi-Canadian artist Ali Gatie. Known for his unique blend of R&B and soul, Gatie draws inspiration from the likes of Ed Sheeran and Frank Ocean.

Bringing together the biggest names in hip-hop, R&B, grime, dance and drill, Wireless looks set to be one the biggest events of 2023. Stay tuned to DSCVR for further artist announcements in the coming weeks.
