Mott 32, a global restaurant known for its modern Hong Kong-inspired cuisine, is now taking reservations for its first location in the Middle East. The restaurant, on the 73rd floor of Address Beach Resort, combines traditional Chinese cooking techniques with modern culinary innovation to celebrate the culture and food of Hong Kong.
The vibrant and energetic restaurant is named after the address of Manhattan’s first Chinese convenience store, which opened in 1891. This location is now considered the centre of Chinatown in New York City and serves as the inspiration for the cosmopolitan atmosphere at the restaurant. In Dubai, the views of the Manhattan Bridge have been replaced with Bluewaters Island, Palm Jumeirah and Ain Dubai, all visible from Mott 32’s outdoor terrace.
All Mott 32 restaurants are led by Group Chinese Executive Chef Lee Man Sing, a highly respected Cantonese chef who sources the freshest ingredients from sustainable producers -both locally and from overseas – to maintain the quality of the food. His exceptional skills in traditional Chinese cooking and western techniques are showcased in the restaurant’s menu, which features ethical dishes with elegant presentations.
Some must-try menu items include the 48-hour apple wood-roasted Peking duck, jasmine flower smoked black cod, and freshly made dim sum. For those looking for a more sustainable option, Mott 32 also offers plant-based dishes, an extensive wine list and handcrafted cocktails to pair with each dish.
The restaurant has been designed by Joyce Wang Studio, seamlessly combining a New York industrial style with the cityscape of Hong Kong. The opulent East-meets-West aesthetic pays tribute to the traditional Chinese ambience of the original Mott 32 while embracing a sleek and elegant look.
