Taking over Foundry in Downtown Dubai, this one-of-a-kind event will run from 16 September to 31 October.
When it comes to the pop art movement that emerged during the mid- to late-1950s, there’s one name that takes centre stage: Andy Warhol. Nearly four decades after his death, the King of Pop Art continues his reign, influencing everything from how creatives come together to the concept of fame. And soon, you can step into his artistic universe as a one-of-a-kind exhibition is headed to Foundry.

Aptly entitled Andy Warhol: The Glam Factory, it will run at the art space in Downtown Dubai from 16 September to 31 October, showcasing the works of one of the most influential artists in history. Spanning from 1954 to 1987, the exhibition will present not only his greatest masterpieces (those famous iconic Monroe portraits included), but also delve into how his creative vision revolutionised the 20th century.
Visitors can connect with one of the world’s most celebrated artists like never before, exploring his artwork throughout a series of retro-style rooms that perfectly echo his eclectic vision. You’ll also be able to immerse in the extravagant 1970s New York nightlife scene that inspired Warhol’s work thanks to the interactive Studio 54 room, a space dedicated to bringing to life the famous nightclub that he frequented with models, celebrities and designers — Debbie Harry, Jerry Hall, Paloma Picasso, and Truman Capote included. Interested? You can join the waitlist for Andy Warhol: The Glam Factory and get exclusive access to pre-sale tickets before they are released to the public.
Starting at AED 80 and available via the Fever app and website, tickets go on public sale at 12pm on Wednesday, 17 July. The ticket you purchase will be of the open variety, valid for walk-ins at any date and time while the exhibition is open from 10am to 8pm on weekdays, and from 10am to 10pm on weekends. Foundry, for the uninitiated, is a hybrid progressive art space located on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai. Founded as a response to the country’s evolving cultural scene, it curates a comprehensive programme of exhibitions, commissions, workshops, talks and film screenings all year round.
