Nestled in the charming neighbourhood of Al Zeina, Antonia Trattoria promises to bring a curated menu of authentic Italian dishes to the table, crafted under the expert guidance of the talented and award-winning Chef Simone Federici. Patrons can look forward to savouring both new, exciting items and timeless favourites, such as Antonia’s renowned meatballs and signature specials that have captured hearts far and wide.
With a well-established home-grown restaurant in Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Antonia has already garnered a devoted following. The restaurant’s reputation for its delightful Pizza Al Taglio, genuine pastas and traditional main courses precedes it. Additionally, guests can revel in a selection of fine yet affordable Italian beverages and Aperitivo, making Antonia Trattoria a perfect destination for both casual get-togethers and special occasions.
At the heart of Antonia’s culinary success lies Chef Simone Federici’s passion for preserving tradition while infusing creativity. Inspired by his grandmother, he embarked on his culinary journey at just 15 years of age. Each slice of Antonia’s pizza is a testament to this passion, carefully fermented for 72 hours with a piece of Nonna’s 50-year-old sourdough, resulting in a light and crunchy base that captures the essence of generations past.
The resounding success of Antonia’s commitment to delivering an exceptional experience is evident. Within a short span of 10 months since its inception, the restaurant expanded to cater to the overwhelming demand across Saadiyat Island and neighbouring communities. Riding this wave of triumph, Antonia is now thrilled to announce the grand opening of Antonia Trattoria, with even more exciting plans for a third venue on the horizon later this year.
