Abu Dhabi’s culinary scene is awash with upmarket eateries. Now, a new restaurant backed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafael Nadal has opened in the capital. TOTÓ in Abu Dhabi has taken up residence at Mamsha on Saadiyat Island.
Established in 2020 in Madrid, TOTÓ promises to whisk guests back to the golden era of Italian cinematography with its homage to the protagonist of the legendary film, Cinema Paradiso. Inspired by Italian cinema and cuisine circa 1950, the elevated dining experience evokes a range of sensations, seamlessly blending tradition and gastronomic excellence.
The space offers a rustic-luxe setting with a focus on an exceptional selection of artwork, décor and accessories that effortlessly balance the spirit of classic Italian cinematography with chic Dubai scenes. Guests will be able to choose from a variety of dishes brimming with aromas, flavours and colours paired with exquisite wines and meticulously crafted cocktails, each designed to transport diners to Italy.

Drawing inspiration from the pure love of film during the post-war era, the ambience echoes Italian spring nights and is complemented by a spectacular bar and open kitchen. The extensive drinks menu includes classic cocktails, spirits, and signature Mediterranean-inspired beverages accompanied by the Mediterranean-inspired beats of TOTÓ’s resident DJ.
Offering stunning sea views from the terrace and a sophisticated, 1950s-inspired dining room, the many highlights of the menu include signature specials such as the Vitello Tonnato antipasti with tuna, traditional La Vera Carbonara, and the classic TOTÓ Tiramisu with Italian coffee and mascarpone foam.
TOTÓ in Abu Dhabi is in good company at Mamsha, joining popular eateries Antonia, Les Dangereux, LOCAL, NIRI Restaurant & Bar and Pickl at the popular beachfront enclave.
Following it’s opening in the capital, TOTÓ is expected to open a second location at Hotel Boulevard, Autograph Collection in Downtown Dubai.
