Over 50 dining outlets are offering exclusive set menus as part of the 11th Dubai Food Festival.
With the Dubai Food Festival only two weeks away, foodies across the city are turning their sights to some of its most popular fixtures. Case in point: Dubai Restaurant Week. A showcase of the city’s diverse culinary scene, it will run from 26 April to 12 May, and bookings are now live. Yes, that’s 17 days’ worth of Dubai’s leading eateries featuring specially curated set menus at ultra-affordable prices — MICHELIN and Gault&Millau recognised restaurants included.
Venues that make an appearance in the 2024 Middle East and North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants list are also participating. These include 21Grams, Carnival By Trèsind, Jun’s, Reif Kushiyaki, ROKA, and UCHI among others. The return of Dubai Restaurant Week brings with it two-course lunch menus at AED 125 and/or three-course dinners at AED 250 per person, giving diners the chance to explore new flavours, discover local concepts and hidden gems, rediscover old favourites, and immerse themselves in the culinary artistry that Dubai is renowned for.
“Dubai Restaurant Week is a celebration of the city’s booming dining scene, and the chefs and culinary trailblazers who have helped place the city on the global gastronomic stage,” said Ahmad Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment. “With even more restaurants taking part this year, and with so many different cuisines involved, it’s an incredible opportunity to explore Dubai’s diverse culinary offering at great value, while immersing yourself in DFF’s vibrant atmosphere.”
So, who’s on the roster? Cargo, Hillhouse Brasserie, Couqley French Restaurant, Somewhere Galleria, Rhodes W1, Toro Toro and Carna By Dario Cecchini for starters. There are also eateries specialising in Emirati and Arabic cuisine, such as Al Khaima, Al Nafoorah and Arabian Tea House. The Green Michelin awarded Lowe, and BOCA will also be taking part, giving green-minded foodies a chance to enjoy the eco-friendly fare. You can book your spot via the Visit Dubai website.
Elsewhere, the Dubai Food Festival will host a citywide programme of activations, special menus, events, competitions, promotions and more that will bring to life the diversity, authenticity, and experiential nature of the local food scene. In addition to Dubai Restaurant Week, it will feature returning favourites such as Foodie Experiences, e& Beach Canteen, and 10 Dirham Dish alongside the all-new Chef’s Menu and Gault&Millau’s inaugural Culinary Innovators.
