Yas Marina Circuit and Ethara Live have announced the first act to headline this year’s Yasalam After-Race Concerts.
It’s official — Muse is the first musical act announced for the Yasalam After-Race Concerts at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024. The British rock royalty will take to the stage at Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi for the after-race concert series that will run from 5 to 8 December (making it the longest Formula 1 season to date) and be accessible exclusively to F1 ticket holders.
While the date of Muse’s show hasn’t been announced yet, the upcoming event marks their return to Abu Dhabi. They made their debut in the Middle East back in 2013. Dubbed one of the best live bands in the world, their success spans multiple number one albums, a pair of Grammy Awards, and a whole host of sold-out tours across the globe. Audiences can expect to hear several of the alternative rock hits that have won the trio legions of fans worldwide — “Uprising”, “Starlight”, and “Supermassive Black Hole” if we’re lucky. Tracks from the band’s ninth studio album, Will of the People, are also likely to make an appearance at the upcoming concert.
Last year, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix welcomed more than 170,000 fans to Yas Marina Circuit to witness the excitement both on and off the track, with previous headliners including plenty of big names: Pink, Sam Smith, Foo Fighters, The Weeknd, Tiesto, Rihanna, and Shania Twain. On-track action, meanwhile, will rather historically include Lewis Hamilton’s last race in a Mercedes car, as well as excitement over who will be crowned Constructor’s Champion and Driver’s Champion of the year. Tickets to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024 are now on sale. More artists who will perform alongside Muse will be revealed closer to race weekend.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets are available via www.abudhabigp.com, starting from AED 750.
