Tatel Dubai

A celebrity favourite, the Spanish restaurant is the brainchild of sports stars Rafael Nadal, Pau Gasol, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The wait is finally over — Tatel has opened its doors at Hotel Boulevard, Autograph Collection, bringing with it fine-dining experience that’s backed by not one, but three legendary athletes: tennis legend Rafael Nadal, LA Lakers champion Pau Gasol, and football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Brought to the city with the help of Leisure Quest, the debut marks the seventh addition to the global line-up; there are locations in Riyadh, Ibiza, Madrid and more.

Open daily from 7pm, it serves Spanish cuisine uniquely fused with international flavours, perfectly complemented by lively entertainment and stellar service to create a holistic gastronomic experience. As for first impressions? You’ll be greeted into a warmly lit space illuminated by the soft glow of candles lining the entrance. The interiors at Tatel are designed to exude an antique feel, complete with mirrored ceilings, plush seating, and a charming cobbled floor. The likes of foliage and dark wood accents, meanwhile, add to its inviting ambiance.

Diners can choose from an extensive selection of dishes including meat, vegetarian and seafood options, each meticulously prepared with ingredients sourced from both local and Spanish vendors. A handful of popular dishes from Tatel Madrid have also made the cut on Tatel Dubai’s menu: the Tortilla de patatas trufada, La Milanesa de Tate with Sous Vide egg and grated black truffle, Carpaccio de atún rojo, and Ensaladilla Tatel con gambas included. For mains, guests can feast on mouthwatering dishes such as Arroz Tatel con costilla de vacuno (slow-cooked beef ribs served with Tatel rice) and Risotto con trufa (semolina risotto with grated black truffle), both of which are signature dishes and  accompanied by an exceptional selection of Spanish and international wines.

A 1920s speakeasy vibe is also a part of the dining experience as live music takes place on weekends, and resident and guest DJs spin the decks throughout the week. And thanks to distinct, interconnected areas, guests can choose their spot based on their preferences. There’s a restaurant lounge featuring a decadent Prohibition-era-inspired bar, a dining area with open kitchen views that offer guests a front-row seat to the culinary action, and several private spaces perfect for VIP dining experiences. These exclusive areas include bottle service, panoramic views of the restaurant, and intimate gatherings of ten or more guests. Come cooler weather, you’ll likely find us on Tatel’s Mediterranean garden terrace.
