You’ve solved your favourite escape rooms, made pitstops at major art exhibitions, caught every new flick worth watching, and caffeinated at just about every roastery in town — now what? While there’s no shortage of great indoor activities to keep you occupied this summer, nothing beats an interactive venue with a novelty factor. Enter: Loco Bear, an innovative new adventure hub that promises a whole host of attractions under one roof when it debuts later this month.
Spanning a whopping 70,000 square feet in Al Quoz 2, the indoor entertainment hub and theme park is designed to cater to all ages, making it perfect for families looking to escape the scorching temperatures outside. Powered by cutting-edge technology, Loco Bear will feature a variety of one-of-a-kind activities, including the only Slime Universe in Dubai, as well as an epic Soft Play zone.
Adrenaline junkies can tackle the challenging wall climbs, featuring unique courses like Takeshi’s Jump and Leap & Faith. To amp up the excitement, the park will also boast a 18,500-square-foot Trampoline Arena. Here, friends and family can jump into action with ninja warrior and parkour challenges, alongside a thrilling Wipeout Area. The area is also home to the adrenaline-pumping Sky Rider, a zipline-meets-roller-coaster that lets visitors zip through and take in a panoramic view of the park. Elsewhere, Loco Bear will take things up a notch with two state-of-the-art laser tag arenas where visitors can rally their best squads and gear up for battles. On the second floor, visitors can dive into an energetic six-lane bowling area, complete with a lounge that overlooks other zones.
This alley isn’t just about traditional spares and strikes, either — it’s also home to Hyperbowl, an exciting new bowling concept unlike anything else in the region. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of challenging activities around the bowling alley (think: shuffleboard, arm wrestling, curved air hockey, and pool). We’re told that a full-fledged arcade will round off the entertainment, pairing nostalgic favourites with innovative releases. You can race horses and bikes with friends, out-boogie them on the Flashpad, challenge them to The Cage Fighter, or embark on a virtual reality adventure through fantastical realms in The Sky Ride before refuelling at Loco Lounge.
