Old favourites and new offerings are on the modern steakhouse’s culinary roster for the months ahead
Restaurants have come and gone, but nearly six years since its buzzy debut at The Abu Dhabi EDITION, Oak Room is yet to falter. Having recently reopened for an exciting new season, the modern steakhouse is back with its intimate dinners, iconic Sunday Roasts, and other culinary experiences — each complemented by sommelier-led wine experiences. That’s right. Mile Spasov – the award-winning Head Sommelier at Oak Room – is also back, translating to meticulously curated wine pairings.

Still on the menu are premium cuts of meat (Saroma Wagyu, Sanchoku Wagyu, and Black Onyx) as well as comfort food with an elevated twist (the signature Mac and Cheese is ingeniously topped with a porcini and bone marrow crumb). As for what’s expected this season? Renewed energy and a fresh take on its celebrated British steakhouse experience. Open Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 11pm, and on Sundays from 12:30pm to 5pm, the restaurant combines British culinary traditions with a rock ‘n’ roll flair (read: leather, loud tunes, and monochrome photos of Lou Reed), resulting in a sleek yet relaxed atmosphere. We’re told that patrons can look forward to unique menu offerings, exclusive events, and exceptional dining experiences designed to delight new and returning guests alike. Here’s what to expect at a glance.
Tomahawk & Wine
With its reopening, Oak Room introduces the Tomahawk & Wine experience, a culinary journey that celebrates the rich flavours of prime-grade meat. Guests are invited to savour a perfectly grilled Wagyu Tomahawk Steak, accompanied by signature starters and sides, and paired with a carefully selected premium bottle of wine. Priced at AED 990, this offer is available from Monday to Saturday, between 6pm and 11pm.
Oak Room Intro

Sunday Roast at Oak Room
For the entire month of October, a part of the proceeds will go to Al jalila foundation in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Regulars will tell you that the Oak Room Sunday Roast is, in one word, unmissable. Curated by Chef de Cuisine Fernando Tapia, who’s lauded as one of the best chefs in the UAE by Gault & Millau, the seated menu of succulent roasts are paired with a robust beverage selection (premium bubbles guided by Spasov included). The Sunday Roast is served from 12:30pm to 5pm on Sundays, with packages starting at AED 325. Guests aged 16 and under dine for free, making it the perfect family tradition come weekends.
