The spacious, open concept features alfresco seating, a dedicated ceviche bar, outdoor fire pits and sunken lounges bringing together Latin American craftsmanship with intrinsic detailing throughout Tamoka’s décor.
At the helm of Tamoka’s epicurean voyage is Chef de Cuisine Cesar Bartolini. Dishes on the menu include a variety of Entradas such as the Tinga, a contemporary Mexican dish of slow-cooked confit chicken with chipotle sauce, and Costillas, crispy beef short ribs marinated in tamarind and chayote, hinting at influences from the Caribbean islands.
For those with an appetite for seafood, the Centolla; serves Alaskan king crab with little gems, an Argentinian inspired dressing, and salsa. Following the appetisers, guests can enjoy the Langostinos, tender Patagonian prawns with creamy coconut rice and spicy huancaina sauce from Peru, or the Ojo De Bife, a dry-aged Wagyu rib-eye served with roasted pineapple mustard. Tamoka’s Postres include the Torta Rum, a Caribbean spiced rum cake served with a caramelised banana, or the Anana, a tropical pineapple carpaccio served with fresh kiwi, passion fruit and coconut sorbet.
Tamoka’s little sister, Caña by Tamoka, is the only licensed bar on the JBR strip, providing guests with the opportunity to soak up the sun while embracing the barefoot luxury. Caña by Tamoka promises sun-filled beach days complimented by laid back snacks and crafted concoctions from expert mixologists.
