Everything we know about Taste of Dubai 2024

Taste of Dubai

Taking place next month, the city’s biggest food festival will be held at a new location this time around.

It’s back, but not quite as you know it — after the latest announcement by MENA Live Events, we now know that Taste of Dubai is set to return from 23 to 25 February, taking place at Skydive Dubai for the first time. Following the success of its relaunch last year, the ever-popular food festival will feature everything from food and licensed lounges to live music, appearances by celebrity chefs, a market of artisan vendors, and plenty more.

Partnering once again with Philips, the three-day event will be anchored in 16 pop-ups by some of Dubai’s best restaurants, with the likes of Hutong, Akira Back, Torno Subito, City Social, and Rhodes W1 confirmed to participate. And like editions past, each restaurant will specially curate a menu of three to five ‘taster’ size dishes so that guests can make their way across the impressive line-up, selecting their favourites as they go. Bonus: each restaurant will feature at least one vegetarian option and one kid-friendly dish this year, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Elsewhere, celebrity chefs will host three days of exclusive workshops during which guests can learn the best kitchen secrets, techniques, and insights directly from the experts themselves — and both seasoned home cooks and passionate foodies are welcome. Not only have big names such as Kelvin Cheung, Ritu Dalmia, Hattem Mattar, and Matt Preston confirmed their attendance, but all workshops are also included for free with all event entry tickets.

You can also approach the Philips Cook School for cooking advice and feedback directly from the pros or brush up on the basics of grilling at the Waterfront Market BBQ School, where pitmasters will be on hand. Philips, meanwhile, will ramp up the experience with an interactive area featuring some of their latest kitchen gadgets, supporting chefs with its world-class cooking appliances and, once again, plenty of prizes will be up for grabs.

“We are honoured to sponsor Taste of Dubai in 2024,” says Milena Elmasoglu, VP, CEO META, and RCA at Versuni. “With our purpose of turning houses into homes, consumers are at the heart of every innovation. We are excited to host the cook school and showcase our latest appliances that are designed to help consumers lead happier and healthier lives. Whether it’s baking, grilling, roasting or air frying with the world’s best Air Fryer, or having deliciously brewed coffees at the touch of a button, our appliances are tailored to meet all consumers’ needs and preferences.”

Tickets to Taste of Dubai range from General Admission (AED 55) to VIP Package (AED 250), with early bird tickets now available at Platinumlist.
