Cupbop already has 160 worldwide locations. Now, it’s Dubai’s turn to be tempted by the brand’s bold, fiery and spicy Korean flavours.
What fills your cup? Is it nutritious, crunchy steamed vegetables doused in a hot, spicy, creamy sauce? Luscious fall-apart beef? Or gnarly fried chicken with a delightful kick? These are the questions you’ll soon be asking yourself, thanks to the imminent arrival of American Korean street food sensation, Cupbop.
Cupbop is on a mission to bring Korean BBQ flavours to the masses and to further that aim, it will open its very latest international location at Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai later this summer.
If the name sounds familiar, it might be because this Korean-inspired BBQ joint founded by Junghun Song is something of a street food savant. From humble origins in Salt Lake City, the brand has grown from one food truck with just four items on the menu to a global success story, with over 160 locations and a triumphant appearance on US TV’s Shark Tank.

The menu in Dubai will feature Cupbup’s signature offerings, including CRUNCH BOP (a crispy chicken katsu), ROCK BOP (a tang-tastic fried chicken), B BOP (smoky Korean Bulgogi) and DOOCHI BOP (crunch crispy fried tofu). Whatever the main event in your own cup, you can expect a bowl brimming with delicious flavours and doused in your choice of sauce. If you’re a hot sauce pro, #10 is at hot at it gets, but even the spice averse will find something to enjoy with #1 the very mildest on the scale.
