The first ever Dubai Basketball season at Coca-Cola Arena has seen more than 61,000 fans take in a live game.
Fast-paced, nail-biting and at times totally jaw-dropping, the debut Dubai Basketball season at Coca-Cola Arena has been one for the record books – and it’s not over yet. The culmination of a hectic nine months happens this Sunday, 11 May with the hometown heroes facing their Slovenian rivals Cedevita Olimpija in the first of the ABA League playoffs.

Dubai Basketball could well be the favourites for quarter-final victory, having stormed to their 13th consecutive win of the season against League leaders, Budućnost VOLI at Coca-Cola Arena just a few days ago. They will also have the home team advantage with this leg of the playoffs taking place at Coca-Cola Arena.
Reflective of Dubai itself, Dubai Basketball’s team is made up of players from around the world, with stars from the United States, the Balkans and Philippines all donning the Dubai jersey.
Fans are being urged to get their tickets now to support the players as they bid to go further in the competition. Ticket prices start at AED 75 for category D seating. Baseline and courtside tickets are available from AED 699. VIP boxes can be booked from AED 900. Tickets can be purchased online: www.coca-cola-arena.com.

Looking beyond the ABA playoffs this weekend, the Coca-Cola Arena residents have their sights set on the pinnacle of European basketball, the EuroLeague.
