Located at the new J1 Beach, La Baia will make its debut next month.
Dubai’s beach club scene is as sizzling as the weather, with a whole host of new openings on the horizon. Most recently, Cove Beach made its highly anticipated return, opening its doors at La Vie in JBR, and plenty more are expected to follow as temperatures subside — Baoli Beach, Gigi Rigolatto, and Sirene Beach by Gaia for starters. As for what they have in common? All three are located at J1 Beach in La Mer, an urban riviera that’s poised to bring the best of the world to Dubai’s shores. Now, Bulldozer Group has revealed that La Baia will join them, offering a luxurious escape that’s inspired by the Amalfi Coast.

Set to launch this September, the beach club has looked to the Italian way of life for everything ranging from its culinary offerings to live entertainment. We’re told that this will translate to rich, aromatic flavours from the south, soul-stirring music performances, and a lively private beach club setting where the splendour of Mediterranean summers will linger all year round. With food central to the country’s culture and identity, the menu has been designed to elevate the vivid cooking traditions of Southern Italy by way of opulent touches like black caviar and truffle, exquisitely incorporated into crisp pizzas or paired with burrata cheese. The Crudo Bar, meanwhile, is set to feature a selection of fresh seafood spanning scampi, oysters, and red shrimp carabineros.

Elsewhere, a dedicated Dessert Room will house the likes of Caprese Chocolate Cake and Neapolitan Rum Baba, both echoing the confectionery staples of Southern Italy. Adding to the Italian Riviera fiesta will be the first-of-its-kind sgroppino show at La Baia, transforming cocktail mixing into a theatrical event that takes place tableside. And in keeping with the charm of the Amalfi coast, a curated wine selection influenced by seaside vineyards will also be on offer, so expect options from Tuscany’s breezy vineyards, the sunny slopes of Montalcino, and the coastal gems of Maremma. The list is rounded off with exceptional wines from Provence, Santorini, and Rías Baixas. Live bands and DJs are expected to add to La Baia’s glamorous ambience from day to night, as will décor elements such as handcrafted tiles, authentic tableware, and even custom art deco sunbeds that embody the vibrant colours and textiles of the region. Craving la dolce vita? Come September, it’s here.
