A luxurious beach house has opened on Palm West Beach, offering a refined ambience complete with enticing day beds, a glistening pool, and a beach-style restaurant. Infused with the essence of the French Riviera, Maison de la Plage promises a culinary sanctuary pulsating with upscale yet relaxed dining, curated by Chef Izu Ani.
Transporting guests to the sun-drenched shores of the Côte d’Azur, the beachfront venue boasts a colour palette reminiscent of idyllic villages in the South of France. At its core lies the bustling market, inviting diners to pick their ingredients and customise their meals while the culinary team brings them to life. Signature dishes such as the Izu Burger, Grilled Octopus, Lobster Linguine, Marinated Lamb Cutlets and Snails with Butter and Anchovies all pay homage to the timeless allure of French cuisine.
Designed by the London-based studio First Within, Maison de la Plage embodies a departure from traditional aesthetics, seamlessly blending the timeless allure of the Cote d’Azur with the vibrancy of modern Dubai. Drawing aesthetic inspiration from Chef Izu’s adventures, the dining room is adorned with souvenirs collected throughout his travels.
Cabanas offer a private retreat amidst rustling palm trees, while the pool provides a refreshing oasis beneath the open sky. Stretching endlessly, the beach beckons with the soothing sound of waves. Each bed invites indulgence, relaxation, and immersion in the vibrant ambience—an elevated destination where sophistication meets the joy of living.
From serene breakfast escapes overlooking the sea to vibrant sunset gatherings and sumptuous dinners, this beachfront oasis transitions seamlessly from refined dining to lively celebrations.
Chef Izu explains: “One of the things I love most about the sea is that it connects us all, it encourages our playful sides and allows us to unwind. No matter where we are in the world, or what we do with our days, spending time by the sea calms us. The vibrant new beach club marks Chef Izu’s third venture, following La Maison Ani in Dubai Mall and the charming Le Petit Ani in DIFC.
