Burj Al Arab is now home to an exquisite pop-up of the famed L’Olivo, the only two Michelin-starred restaurant on the island of Capri.
Elegant and refined, the Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara pop-up presents divine Mediterranean dishes under the alluring glow of the coral reef aquarium that stands proudly at the heart of Al Mahara.
Shimmering metallic walls greet guests as they walk through the golden passage leading to the underwater world of Ristorante L’Olivo. Velvet navy blue accents combine with soft white and gold hues to create the restaurant’s luxurious décor, while sea-themed details add to the unique environment. Sit back and enjoy delicious flavours, watching rays glide serenely through the water. Ristorante L’Olivo is intimate and romantic, inviting guests to escape from the real world and connect during an unforgettable evening.
Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara from acclaimed Chef Andrea Migliaccio offers diners in Dubai the chance to sample the signature flavours of its counterpart at Capri Palace Jumeirah. From Merluzzo Nero Black Cod; served with spinach and sundried tomatoes and finished with coffee and liquorice, to delicious ribbons of Tagliolini; perfectly paired with tuna fish tartare, bottarga and finished with zucchini and a squeeze of lime. Other standout dishes include the Blue Lobster with saffron, raspberries and sweet and sour vegetables, and the creamy Risotto with fresh lemon, red prawns, oyster leaf and a creamy bisque.
Guests can choose to dine a la carte or indulge with a specially designed Tasting Menu, created by Chef Migliaccio, which offers the crème de la crème of the dishes at Ristorante L’Olivo. Sit back and enjoy five divine courses, starting with Scampi Langoustine; served with green apple, yoghurt, oyster leaves and caviar and ending with Nocciole e Limone; a heavenly Gianduja Mousse, Hazelnut Crunch and Lemon Sorbet.
