The Dubai EDITION is located in the heart of Downtown Dubai.
Up until recently, Abu Dhabi had something in common with Shanghai, Miami Beach, Barcelona, Bodrum and London, leaving Dubai feeling a little left out – until now. The Dubai EDITION has officially opened its doors in the heart of Downtown Dubai, showcasing the signature blend of modern luxury and local influence perfected by the hotel group. Destined to become Dubai’s cultural and social milieu, the hotel boasts unique dining experiences, exciting entertainment, and world-class services and amenities.

Dubai’s latest five-star opening features 275 guest rooms – 45 of which are suites – alongside a spa with three treatment rooms, a rooftop swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art gym. Restaurants at The Dubai EDITION include Italian eatery DUOMO, Jolie (a French restaurant inspired by Mediterranean coastal flavours), Thia (a poolside bar and lounge with uninterrupted views of the Burj Khalifa) and a speakeasy-style bar by the name of Leon. The good news here is that DUOMO and Jolie are already welcoming diners, with the former featuring a unique take on traditional Italian cuisine set within a marvellous arch.
Upon entry, DUOMO flaunts a vast crystal chandelier that sits elegantly at the start of the arch, encompassing the entire restaurant. Once inside, this is no ordinary Italian restaurant – not only is the setting inspired by the Piazza del DUOMO in Milan (complete with vaulted ceilings), but guests are also sure to be captivated by the immersive digital art show that takes place on the arch itself. As for the menu at DUOMO? It’s influenced by the original style found in Southern Italian regions and the wide array of high-quality ingredients it has to offer.

The divine combination of different ingredients and the delicate techniques used to craft their dishes enchants diners with a unique twist on traditional Italian dishes, including homemade pasta, select meats and fish, truffle aplenty and a selection of authentic pizzas. The overall ambience is only enhanced courtesy of the outdoor terrace embellished with olive trees situated in Italian Sienna clay and terracotta pots.
Meanwhile, French restaurant Jolie presents meticulously prepared French cuisine inspired by Mediterranean coastal flavours. The eclectic menu features evolving seasonal dishes made from sustainably foraged produce and fresh ingredients and prepared for the modern palate. Diners can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner or savour one of the exquisite drinks curated by creative mixologists.

Guests will be embraced in a vibrant, fashionable atmosphere with high fashion photographs commissioned exclusively by Vogue photographer Landon Nordeman. The interior is expressed impeccably by its name, Jolie, meaning beautiful.
With this much attention to detail, it’s no wonder that The Dubai EDITION is the place to be.
