Peak Heat, the country’s first outdoor hot fitness experience, is a brainchild of Visit Jebel Jais.
At a time when the masses are desperate to escape the heat, Visit Jebel Jais is gearing up to embrace it. And you’re invited. Come 14 June, the country’s first outdoor hot fitness experience will take over Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, clocking a striking altitude of 1,934 metres above sea level.

Aptly entitled Peak Heat, the original concept is more than a workout, they say. “It’s a bold invitation to connect with yourself, your community, and the elements.” Held at golden hour on Jebel Jais, the experience is created in partnership with DRYP Studios and Rove Hotels, bringing together movement, nature, and connection in an unforgettable setting.

For the uninitiated, hot yoga and heat-based fitness are typically conducted in indoor studios heated between 32°C and 40°C, with around 40% humidity, to challenge the body and focus the mind. But on Jebel Jais, nature will do the work. Set against the sweeping sunset views of its jagged peaks, the fitness experience will transform natural elements into the ultimate wellness tool, harnessing the power of altitude, movement, and heat.
Peak Heat is open to anyone seeking a challenge, a shift in mindset, or a new way to move. Sessions will run once a month across June, July, and August, with each session timed to catch the golden hour light and cooler mountain air, perfect conditions for transformation. Held at Jebel Jais Viewing Deck, the experience includes exclusive sunset workouts led by top DRYP instructors and post-class recovery tools including chilled towels and cold refreshments. This will be followed by a three-course dinner at 1484 by Puro, the UAE’s highest restaurant, and an overnight stay at the new Rove Al Marjan Island that’s set right on the beach.

“This is hot fitness in its purest form — stripped back, elevated, and deeply connected to nature,” says Jessica Casalegno, Managing Director of DRYP Studios. “Peak Heat is about training differently, thinking differently, and feeling the intensity of the moment. The mountain brings something special, a real sense of challenge and clarity.” Book here.
