ATEEZ, Red Velvet, TripleS and All(H)Ours are the first big names confirmed for the Middle East debut of the world’s biggest K-pop festival.
Earlier this week, we revealed that DREAM Concert – the world’s biggest K-pop festival – is making its Middle East debut at Etihad Park, Yas Island on 22 November. And now, the first wave of artists has officially landed… and it’s huge.
The first names on the bill include ATEEZ, the eight-member group making waves on global charts; Red Velvet, one of the most recognisable girl groups in K-pop; rising collective TripleS; and All(H)Ours, a fresh-faced boyband tipped as ones to watch.
If you’ve been keeping up with the KPop Demon Hunters hype, you’ll know why this is a big deal. ATEEZ inspired the show’s fictional group The Saja Boys, while Red Velvet’s influence lives on through heroine Rumi. So yes, this is fan culture coming full circle.
Theory Eleven has announced the next second wave of artists, with Xikers bringing high-energy performances, along with vocalist Bang Ye Dam, formerly of TREASURE, showcasing his distinctive artistry as a solo act. Adding to the line up is iii, one of K-pop’s freshest new groups, bringing bold sounds and captivating stage presence to fans worldwide.
Since launching in 1995, DREAM Concert has become the longest-running and most celebrated K-pop festival in the world. As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, the festival is heading to Abu Dhabi for the very first time, marking a major milestone for K-pop in the Middle East.
The event is being brought to the region by Theory Eleven Entertainment, alongside Pearle Entertainment, with support from the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral. And there’s more to come – five additional acts will be revealed on 12 September, completing the full festival line-up.
Pre-registration is now open at dreamconcert.ae, with early access to presale tickets before the public release.
