The festival is back with a stellar line up of guests including Zakir Khan, Tom Segura, Morgan Jay, Joanne McNally, Akaash Singh and many more.
For the fifth year running, the eleven-day comedy festival promises to bring all the laughs, from 2 – 12 October, and will be hosted at various venues in the city, including Dubai Opera, Coca-Cola Arena as well as New Covent Garden Theatre at Mall of the Emirates.
Taking centre stage on 2 October at Coca-Cola Arena, will be one of the biggest names in comedy, Tom Segura. Well-known for his Netflix specials Ball Hog, Mostly Stories, Disgraceful and Completely Normal. After extraordinary success last year, Tom is back with his global stand-up tour, Tom Segura: Come Together.
Andrew Schulz headlines an unbelievable night of stand-up comedy with special guests, followed by a live taping of his hit podcast, Flagrant on 7 October.
One of the performances to add to your list is Mo Amer, famed Palestinian-American comedian and Netflix sensation who will also be at Dubai Opera on 9 October. He’s known for combining his Palestinian roots with themes of fame, fatherhood and identity, making his performance both personal and political.
There will be more than 20 comedians from around the globe arriving in Dubai for this special comedy event, with performances in various languages including English, Arabic and Hindi, as well as a line-up of special events and interactive experiences. Expect to see a variety of comedians including Akaash Singh, Hassan Phills, Morgan Jay, Joanne McNally, Masood Boomgaard, Paul Taylor, Zakir Khan and many more throughout the festival.
With more than 200 nationalities taking residence in Dubai, one thing we know is that they all speak the same language of laughter, and the Dubai Comedy Festival brings together some of the world’s most funniest men and women in one city.
