The former Chicago Bulls player will host a meet-and-greet with fans.
The countdown is on to BRED Abu Dhabi and with a whole host of stars and activations already confirmed. With just days to go, the festival organisers have unveiled a last-minute surprise VIP guest – NBA icon and two-time NBA All Star, Joakim Noah.
Joakim will represent the NBA in BRED’s NBA 3X Abu Dhabi competition presented by ADQ. This will be only the second time the 3-on-3 tournament has bee played, making it another standout experience at BRED Abu Dhabi. The competition has an over 18s category, which will feature 24 men’s teams and 12 women’s teams, along with an under 18s open division.
Registration for the competition is open now and there’s still time to register online. Teams registering to take part will receive free BRED passes and have the change to meet Joakim in person. He’ll be hosting meet-and-greet sessions with fans during the festival.
The NBA event will also offer a host of other experiences for fans, with a live DJ, a dunk challenge, a shooting competition and various skills challenges.
Other highlights for visitors attending the five-day arts, food, fashion and music festival include headline performances from American rapper Nas, PartyNextDoor and Nines, dance battles, street food and street fashion launches. For the first time, this year’s event will take place at the Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Island.
