With The Trilogy Tour – which saw the Latin popstar perform across North America alongside Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias – wrapping up earlier this year, the Grammy Award winner is set to take the stage at Coca-Cola Arena on 14 December. This highly anticipated concert is part of Ricky Martin’s internationally acclaimed world tour, Ricky Martin Live, and promises an unforgettable night of pulsating beats and soul-stirring melodies fuelled by his famously boundless energy.
Martin’s success in the late 1990s, for those unfamiliar with his oeuvre, is generally seen as the beginning of the “Latin explosion”. Who can forget the lively rhythm and ridiculously catchy chorus of 1999 single “Livin’ La Vida Loca”? It may have earned Latin Pop Track of the Year at the 2000 Latin Billboard Music Awards, but the musician is hardly a one-hit wonder.
Topping the charts with the likes of “She Bangs”, “Vente Pa’ Ca”, and “The Cup of Life”, he has sold over 95 million albums worldwide and won numerous accolades — two GRAMMYs, four Latin GRAMMYs, and multiple Billboard awards included. He has also been credited for propelling the Latin pop music genre to mainstream recognition, paving the way for many Latin artists to achieve global success. On stage, Martin is famed for his unparalleled charisma and showmanship, and his upcoming show in Dubai will be no different.

And between its state-of-the-art sound system and almost 400 square metres of modular and ribbon LED screens, Coca-Cola Arena will provide the perfect setting for his electrifying performance. Ricky Martin Live is brought to Dubai by event management company Blu Blood and supported by Dubai Calendar as part of Dubai Shopping Festival that kicks off on 6 December.
