Known for his contemporary take on swing-era classics, Michael Bublé will make his Abu Dhabi debut on January 16, 2025.
We called it — fresh off the heels of Saadiyat Nights announcing a live performance by Robbie Williams, we knew more big names would be revealed in no time. Case in point: Michael Bublé. The Canadian singer and songwriter has just been confirmed in the line-up of this open-air concert series, which will return to the capital later this year, kicking off on 28 December. Both Boyz II Men and Christina Aguilera are confirmed to take the stage early next year (25 January and 15 February respectively).
You may know Bublé from his timeless holiday album, Christmas, or hits such as “Home”, “Higher” or “Save the Last Dance for Me” (all of which make an appearance on his first-ever greatest hits album, The Best of Bublé). Through it all, he has managed to find the sweet spot between producing modern ballads and reworking retro classics, winning five Grammy Awards and fifteen Juno Awards along the way. Ask any fan, and they’ll tell you that his return to the UAE is long overdue; he last performed in Dubai back in 2015, when he headlined at the Dubai International Stadium.
Now a coach on The Voice, the artist continues to thrill audiences – young and otherwise – with his modern-day take on genres such as jazz and swing — and the upcoming show in Abu Dhabi will be no exception. Transforming the capital’s favorite open-air venue into a magical escape of the sonic kind, Saadiyat Nights is set against the visually striking backdrop of Saadiyat Island’s world-renowned vistas, so this exclusive event promises an unforgettable fusion of music and starlight. Tickets start from AED 295 and are available at ticketmaster.ae.
