Björn Frantzén expands the culinary landscape in Dubai with the scheduled launch of their second restaurant at Atlantis, The Palm on 8 November.
FZN by Björn Frantzén will officially bring all the creativity and elegance of their dining scene to Atlantis, The Palm on Friday 8 November. Sister restaurant to the three-Michelin-star Frantzén in Stockholm and Zén in Singapore, this new venue promises to take dining to new heights, quite literally, with two floors of restaurant space making sure to capture the hearts of as many guests as possible. FZN will feature an à la carte menu showcasing Björn’s distinctive and imaginative modern European cuisine with a touch of Japanese flair, alongside a nine-course tasting menu that will be crafted from the finest ingredients.
The journey at the restaurant starts in the lounge where canapés will be served, then taken for an escorted tour of the venue. This will be followed by a specially curated dinner in the dining area, followed by drinks and petit fours. For those guests who won’t get enough and look to extend their evening, an 18-seat terrace with spectacular views of the Dubai skyline is waiting for you to seal off this one-of-a-kind dining journey. In addition, to complement this dining experience, FZN has presented an extensive selection of over 1,300 wine labels from 15 different countries, which comprise boutique and well-known international labels, including some exclusive to Dubai. The guests have the option of choosing just the wine pairing, or a non-alcoholic one, or even a mix of both, or make selections themselves from the cellar.

Taking inspiration from its sibling restaurants Frantzén and Zén, this intimate restaurant focuses immensely on showcasing Swedish craftsmanship and culture. In addition, guests will enjoy a 300-track playlist curated by Björn to set the tone at FZN. Not to mention, this is Star Chef Björn Frantzén’s second offering to Dubai, hot on the heels of his social dining and bar concept, Studio Frantzén, which opened on Thursday 31 October.
When Björn opened Frantzén in 2008, he wasted little time in building his reputation, gaining his first star within a year. Today, the restaurant boasts three stars and comes in at No. 35 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. He followed that up with Zén, another culinary take on Asian, which similarly landed three stars as well marking his name in the dining world. In addition, Björn’s creative contributions placed him at position No. 41 on The Best Chef top 100 list, while Frantzén and Zén appeared in La Liste’s Top 1000 Restaurants of 2024.
When it comes to pricing, FZN Björn Frantzén serves their tasting menu at AED 2,000, with an additional wine pairing option available from AED 1,400, mixed pairing for AED 1,100 and a non-alcoholic pairing for AED 750. Reservations for the restuarant are available now for November, will be subsequently available at the start of every month. The restaurant will welcome guests from from Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 pm, with the last seating being at 8:15 pm. Guests aged 13 years and above are welcomed to enjoy all what the restaurant has to offer.
