The second edition of the urban music and pop culture festival has been rescheduled for November.
Wireless Festival Middle East 2.0 was supposed to kick off on 2 March, bigger and better than its inaugural edition in 2023, but news of its delay has just come through. The region’s biggest celebration of urban music and pop culture will now take place in November 2024. And while an exact date and line-up is yet to be revealed, the event is still expected to take place at Etihad Park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
“After careful consideration and with the utmost dedication to providing the best musical experience for our attendees, we have decided to move the date of the 2024 edition of Wireless Festival to November,” said James Craven, President of Live Nation Middle East. “This change aims to create an even more unforgettable and enjoyable event, allowing us to curate a line-up that surpasses all expectations.”
For the uninitiated, the Wireless Festival is an unparalleled musical extravaganza that has consistently set the standard for unforgettable moments in the capital and abroad. On the roster at the sold-out inaugural edition in March 2023 was an exciting mix of international and regional talent including Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Wegz, Black Sherif, Ali Gatie, King, Divine, and Young Stunners.
Anticipation is now building, yet again, as the first list of performing artists is expected shortly. “This change will ensure that the festival is as exceptional as it can be and hits the magnitude that it deserves,” add festival organisers. “We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work towards delivering an extraordinary festival experience on the new date.
