The Museum of the Future is the first museum of its kind. Built to transform the very perception of the future as we know it, the unique structure has become home to several immersive future environments that aim to position visitors in an empowering version of the future.

Where a traditional museum showcases the past, this museum acts as a gateway to the year 2071, allowing visitors to venture through space and time to explore using their senses and imagine the possibilities of the future.
In a single journey, visitors will wander from a galactic experience, exhibiting the future of humanity in outer space, to the future wonders of ecology. Coming face-to-face with never-seen-before space technology, the visitor’s journey begins in the depths of our solar system. Paying tribute to the inspiring Emirates Mars Mission project that saw the Hope Probe successfully enter Mars’ orbit last year.

The immersive experience will also see its visitors in an entirely new environment as they are re-introduced to planet Earth, the future of healing, sustainability and bioengineering technology. Reflecting the UAE’s ongoing work in sustainability and environmental stability, this part of the visitors’ journey also highlights the UAE position as one of the first countries to announce its commitment to achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
The Museum of the Future will also showcase novel innovations from the near future through its partnerships with industry-leading companies and organisations to highlight emerging technologies and trends created for the betterment of humanity.

Rising 77-metres above the ground and comprising 1,024 unique stainless steel composite panels, the museum’s façade is adorned in Arabic calligraphy, displaying three quotes from poems written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai.
Online bookings should be made before the preferred visiting time, as each ticket holder will be allocated a specific time slot during the museum’s opening hours (from 10am to 6 pm daily).
Museum of the Future will officially open its doors on Tuesday, 22 February 2022.
