The world’s largest snow park is opening soon.
Abu Dhabi will soon welcome a thrilling new attraction, with the opening of Snow Abu Dhabi inside Reem Mall. This exciting addition to the mall will be the world’s largest indoor snow park, allowing visitors to experience winter in the heart of the desert.
The mall took to Instagram to announce the opening date with a wintry visual and the 8 June date traced is an icy font. The caption reads: “Get ready to experience thrilling adventures in the snow ❄️💙 Snowing soon, at #ReemMall!”
Snow Park Abu Dhabi will encompass more than 10,000 square feet and feature 12 rides and 17 attractions whilst maintaining a temperature of minus two degrees Celsius and a blanket of snow 500mm deep.
At the heart of the snow park, a mammoth indoor ski slope will take centre stage, allowing visitors to ski and snowboard on real snow, no matter the weather conditions outside. Those seeking a more relaxed experience will find solace in the snow play area, complete with snow caves, slides and igloos.
Highlight attractions include Snowflake Garden, where crafting snowmen, participating in snowball fights, and navigating through a labyrinthine ice and snow maze are all possible. Mountain Thriller is an adrenaline-fuelled ride designed to propel you at high speeds into the sky or suspend you several feet above the ground on a bullet ride. Elsewhere, bumper tubing leverages the force of gravity to whisk riders away on a downhill journey, and The Enchanted Tree is the place to visit to witness snow flurries. Snow Abu Dhabi also has a crystal carousel, a Polar Express train and a magic carpet ride.
In addition to the snow-based activities, Snow Abu Dhabi will offer a diverse selection of dining and shopping options. Several cosy cafes and restaurants will serve hot beverages and winter-themed delights, while retail outlets will offer winter sports equipment and souvenirs.
Majid Al Futtaim is spearheading the development of the new attraction, which will be one of the primary draws at the new Reem Mall.
