It’s (almost) the most wonderful time of the year, and Expo City Dubai is bringing us plenty of festive cheer with the news that the site will transform into a magical winter wonderland.
The countdown is well and truly on, and Christmas is just around the corner.
Expo City Dubai has announced that from 23 November 2022 to 8 January 2023, the Mobility District, water feature and Al Wasl Plaza will transform into a magical land.
The site will be lined with traditional chalet-style Christmas markets and will host a variety of entertainment and activities for all the family.
A giant 52-foot tree will sit perfectly within Al Wasl Dome with a lighting ceremony on 9 December.
It will also see the return of Expo 2020’s popular Mrs Claus Christmas Show from 20-29 December, followed by nightly festive projection shows.
Other activities include gingerbread, wreath and ornament-making workshops.
If you’re looking for the perfect experience with the kids, visit the toy factory that allows visitors to customise teddy bears and gifts. There will be mulled drinks and mince pies aplenty to fulfil those sweet cravings.
Don’t forget Expo City Dubai is now a dog-friendly destination. Four-legged friends can make the most of the extensive outdoor spaces, with designated stations offering complimentary bowls of water, dog treats and waste bags. (Please tag us in any festive dog selfies!)
