The new dining concept marks the first phase of the beach club’s move to JBR.
It seems like yesterday when we reported on one of the city’s favourite beach clubs, COVEBEACH, announcing its relocation from Bluewaters Island to JBR—the day has come. Opening the doors to its new location at La Vie, it is nestled within its own private tropical oasis and now welcomes guests for lunch and dinner in its brand new restaurant concept, SIERRA by COVEBEACH.
Between the sushi bar, dry-ager, and interactive fish market, guests can immerse themselves in a vibrant dining experience and indulge in freshly prepared specialities. Reflecting its name, which translates to ‘peaks’ in Spanish, SIERRA by COVEBEACH sits at the pinnacle of the new beach club that overlooks the Arabian Gulf. With a capacity to seat 146 guests, the restaurant is designed to provide a sophisticated dining ambience alongside a menu of crowdpleasers (Burrata Di Puglia, Wagyu Beef Tartare, Black Truffle & Caviar, and Lobster Pasta included).
But back to that sushi bar. Fans of Japanese cuisine will be pleased to discover that it is the centrepiece of the new restaurant, showcasing a range of COVEBEACH signature rolls like spicy tuna, dynamite, and salmon & crab tempura. Building on the immense popularity of the beach club’s sushi over the past nine years, the culinary team has dedicated significant time and effort to elevate and expand its sushi offering. With this beloved food menu comes a perfectly paired beverage programme, including an extensive selection of premium wines.
Step outside, and you can enjoy shisha, drinks and bites accompanied by striking views of Ain Dubai at SIERRA lounge. We reckon it’ll be a prime spot to catch the sunset — once we get through the scorching summer, that is. Also part of the first phase is the launch of one of COVEBEACH’s pools, the Moët pool, which is set to welcome kids and adults looking to cool off circa now. Here, guests can choose to relax in one of the many lounge options, ranging from sunbeds to cabanas, and enjoy poolside service from the SIERRA by COVEBEACH pool menu.
Those visiting the new venue can expect to see familiar faces as COVEBEACH’s dedicated staff have all transitioned to the new property, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience. Guests can also expect the same culinary excellence as SIERRA’s menu is the brainchild of Executive Head Chef, Nasser Fouad Laziri. He’s no stranger to culinary innovation and will continue to push boundaries for an elevated dining experience at the new location. We’re told that the second phase of COVEBEACH is set to launch after summer (just in time for beach club season), bringing with it an adults-only pool, a luxurious beachside lounge, seating areas, and private cabana pools.
