DSCVR branded the Coca-Cola Arena during the rap superstar’s one-off Dubai performance.
As part of his Green Light Gang World Tour, rapper and actor, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, performed a one-off show at the Coca-Cola Arena on Friday, 30 September.
Before the hip-hop megastar took to the stage, the large screens throughout Dubai’s ‘home of live entertainment’ were DSCVR branded to present our online platform to the audience of 17,000 atendees.
The 30-second video, which was played on a loop in the lead up to the show, introduced not only the DSCVR website but our burgeoning social media platforms, as kinetic images filled the screen.
Born Curtis James Jackson III, 50 Cent is recognised as one of the most prolific rap artists of his time. The Grammy Award winner rose to fame with his record-shattering debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and has since sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.
The platinum-selling superstar has cemented himself into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame, with tracks including ‘In Da Club‘, ‘Candy Shop‘ and ‘P.I.M.P‘.
In 2005, Jackson founded G-Unit Film & Television, Inc. which has produced a wide variety of content, including the critically-acclaimed #1 show on Starz, “Power,” in which he not only co-starred but also served as executive producer and director.
Additional acting credits include several blockbusters, most recently, “Den of Thieves” with Gerard Butler. Jackson has also appeared in Antoine Fuqua’s boxing drama “Southpaw,” alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and “Spy” with Melissa McCarthy.
