The French baroque-inspired August is now open.
August is a new restaurant and lounge on the 12th floor of Address Fountain Views in Downtown Dubai. The establishment offers a unique dining experience inspired by the French baroque style with a modern twist. Guests can choose from several areas to enjoy their experience, including The Dining Room for casual meals and drinks, The Cocktail Room with live music from local DJs, and The Terrace Garden offering breathtaking views of the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai.
The Dining Room is ideal for socialising and features French-Mediterranean cuisine prepared by chef Juan Pablo Rey Nores. The menu includes appetisers like Wagyu Carpaccio, Escargots, and Foie Gras Brioche, main courses such as Lobster Tagliatelle, Sea Bass Papillote, and Steak Frites, and delectable desserts like Caramel Fondant, Crêpes Suzette, and the August Chocolate Dream.
The Cocktail Room – also referred to as the Speakeasy Space – is ideal for those looking to party. Here, August’s talented mixologists serve a range of cocktails. Upon entering the room, guests are greeted by a dramatic smoke and laser show to set the mood for the evening.
The Terrace Garden is a peaceful outdoor space adorned with lush greenery and foliage, offering views of the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai skyline. The space features a lineup of DJs, including August’s resident DJ Josho, a Lebanese-born Dubai-based DJ known for his eclectic music selection.
August is also a place for art lovers. The venue serves as a platform for displaying art, with art galleries rotating monthly. The first featured exhibition will be for Ayyam Gallery, a leading arts organisation representing established and emerging artists. Art is at the heart of August’s concept, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking a unique culinary and artistic experience in Dubai.
